When moderating or presenting on a BlueJeans event - my microphone doesn't work

My headset (Plantronics Blackwire 300 DA) works perfectly fine with Skype, normal BlueJeans, etc.

However, whenever I join a BlueJeans event through the app as a moderator or presenter. The audio works on the headset but the microphone doesn't. Even when unmuting myself - changing the settings, etc.

Anyone else have a solution or had this problem? I solved it once by using the browser instead of the app, but whenever I join the browser it blocks my screen after about 10 minutes and says I need to give permission to access my camera, even though it has permission and had already been working fine...
