What is the guest mode?

1. In the main settings, I have guests join via 'Browser' selected

2. When I look at the 'meeting' and 'scheduled meeting' settings, it says 'guest mode'

Whats the difference between have this selected and not selected? 

I spent an hour looking through your help pages (which there is only one page that is not helpful) and talking to your call center, but only ended up getting more confused. 

I've even tried both userflows myself and dont find any difference in the UX. Can someone pls help explain the difference between guest mode and non-guest mode?

Thank you for your question. I apologize for the delay in response.

Both of these settings perform the same role, but for different use-cases. Guest Mode is a scheduling option that allows you to choose which meetings will have guests join by browser or by the application. The setting that you've already adjusted is for all meetings on your account. The overlap between these options can be confusing and is why we'll be retiring the option in the near future. Our App or Browser article covers these options in more detail.
