We've used Blue Jeans to tie in multiple distance education (DE) rooms within our College of Nursing sites for guest speakers like the following post highlights.

But the program has also used Blue Jeans to bring our Chancellor and the Nursing Dean into our DE rooms while on a trip to China regarding healthcare.

Other uses include holding American Indian Studies courses in our local DE rooms with several remote students and guest participants. This particular instructor even taught the course remotely a few times while she was taking care of her mother several hours away during an illness.

The use of Blue Jeans is very big for search and screens for hiring on our campus as well. This was actually the primary reason for piloting Blue Jeans in the first place.

Things are just starting to get ramped up with a variety of other uses. I'll follow-up on this post as more of them roll out.

Do you see a use case especially around product demonstrations? or showing something using a mobile phone?

Krish, our Communication Sciences and Disorders group is starting their on-line graduate program this summer. I believe one of the things they wanted to do is on-site patient video calls. They were seeing products like Librestream Onsight as an option and then I said we can already do that with an iPhone using Blue Jeans if the basic need is to bring in a person over video, we can do encryption, and as long as their Internet connection is usable. That department is already using Blue Jeans for some outside of classroom meetings between faculty and students to the best of my knowledge.

Is that what you're asking for?
