Sharp Pen Software not visible on screen share

While using the Sharp Pen Software on a Sharp LL-S242A-W interactive screen with their interactive white board what our professor is writing can be seen no problem but when he turns off the whiteboard feature and starts writing on the desktop, pdf's or other files the students are unable to see what is being written.  Anyone else run into this problem yet?  Anyone at BlueJeans have a solution to suggest?

Hi Jeremy,

Can you help us with the connection diagram. We would like to know how LL-S242A-W  is hooked with laptop and white board. When White Board feature is turned off, is the WB still connected to the LL-S242A-W. Can you restart the setup. Remove the White Board. join a meeting on laptop connected to LL-S242A-W and share presentation and see if that works.
Also, are you using HDMI-- VGA or DVI cable to connect LL-S242A-W  to  laptop.

The interactive whiteboard is built into the Sharp device.  It is connected to the MSI all-in-one computer via an HDMI cable for video and USB cable for touch data transmission.  This is a remote instruction unit located in Idaho...it is not located locally.

When yu say an  interactive white board do they have any of these PN-L802B/L702B/L602B  connected too.

Secondly.

LL-S242A-W  has a 2 HDMI In ports. PC is connected to LL-S242A-W  on HDMI In for video. When
professor starts writing on LL-S242A-W  using sw pen, does his annotations visible  on Laptop too ?

So here is the solution from BlueJeans for the annotation problem we have been experiencing:

Once you have a meeting up and running!
Open the start menu and type "Services"
Click on Services at the top of the results
Find and select "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager"
At the top left hand corner of the Services window select "Restart" the service.

This must be done after a new meeting is started for annotations to be visible to your participants while annotating on your shared screen.  Strange solution but, HEY, it works!

Thanks VD!
