I would love to see room pairing available on the Bluejeans app. Perhaps by allowing the user to type in a code on their phone or taking a picture of a QR code on the video conference screen. At times it is not easy to get a hold of a laptop.

We totally want to do something about pairing.  That is all I can share right now.

We can guarantee that it will be an easier experience than QR codes. QR codes have only been used by 4% of consumers in 2013 and on a decline.  The action of taking out your phone, opening a QR code reader, holding the camera from the app up to a QR code with steady hands, and pressing a button isn't super intuitive. Also iOS doesn't have the QR reader built into their camera, its in Passbook, so you would need another step.

We are going to look to reduce the # of steps so that the room pairing experience is as intuitive and simple as possible.
