several times recently we have experienced while using PowerPoint in share screen mode where the slide seen by the clients are one slide behind the presenter. Has anyone else experienced this, or hopefully does anyone know the cause and remedy?

maybe check the PPT (presenter view) checkbox.  try toying with that setting...

Thanks Robert. the last time it happened, presenter view was disabled. i thought of that too as it caches a slide, but it caches the next slide, not the previous one. the clients are seeing the previous slide while everyone in the room with the presenter is seeing the current slide. its not network latency as it does not update if you wait.

Hello Bill,

Is this for an event? Are you reporting that the slides are behind from presenter to presenter or presenter to attendee?

we have experienced this several times, where the slide seen by remote attendees is one slide behind the slide shown in the room by the presenter. Always one slide. in some cases, by going back and forth, the slides may synchronize, but typically the presenter is talking about a slide that the remote audience has not yet seen. our solution so far has been for the presenter to talk about the previous slide for the remote audience which means that the audience in the room with the presenter is now not seeing the correct slide. I have been on both sides of this situation, presenting and attending remotely.
