Outlook invite text - abbreviated

The text that is included when using the Outlook plug-in is a bit excessive (nearly 100 extra lines of text.)

Is there a way to configure the plugin to add-in just the URL and conf call info in a concise format?

All feedback welcome.

Bill,

We've often avoided using the canned text that gets sent via Blue Jeans because the formatting gets wonky or might be unclear. We typically know our audience and send them exactly what they need in a separate meeting invite or email.

We also avoid having meeting invites sent via Blue Jeans so that people recognize the user that's inviting them, so users are encouraged to send the information as themselves.

Regardless, customizing what you're talking about here would certainly be helpful.

Thanks for the reply, Craig.  Yes, we're using the same best-practices.  So, given that most people end up doing the same thing in this respect, BJ can update the plug-in with a feature offering users to supply their own standard connection info text.  Do you know how to submit a product request?

These threads get watched by Blue Jeans and I'm guessing Brittany Lucero (or others from BJN) let product mangers know. So this method is a good place to start. You could also email a customer success manager if you have one for your account.

The only thing I would add to that is there are different areas within the community here so this one could have gone under IDEAS instead of QUESTIONS perhaps.
