We did a holistic communications review and found that both Lync and BlueJeans would be really useful tools for us. We were bringing in Lync primarily for internal comms, but liked the flexibility and ability to plug into client systems the BlueJeans had.

By integrating Lync with BlueJeans we could avoid overloading our users with what they would perceive as different tools. Instead they can use a familiar environment (Lync) to connect to clients using BlueJeans as the bridge/go-between.

Now that people are more familiar with the tools, they are starting to explore BlueJeans more and making the most of the additional functionality.

we are the same except we use SIP softphones with xmpp chat, some users are using Hangouts for when they are client sites that block everything else.

If we could integrate our Softphone/Chat clients with a BJN bridge it would mean we could get the best of both worlds. the associates can communicate with each other utilising presence, click to call and direct/group chat - then escalate the call to a bjn bridge if more or external parties are required.

Agree, Ben, the bridging is super-useful and well-received.  Many of my customers are looking to extend the reach of their Lync investment to clients and business partners who may not have Lync (or aren't federated) while also extending the reach and utility of room systems and rolling carts.  And having that last ditch, "audio-only" option is icing on the cake........

The top reason for us is the lack of integration between Microsoft Lync (cloud version, Office 365) and the traditional VDC world (Cisco based, H323). BlueJeans has proven to be one of the few cloud solution that would allow us to do this "sort-of" integration, although we need to manage all the issues related to the deployment for all our users.
