Upon boot, I get a notepad that launches with the following :

APP_DETECTOR_PATH=objShell.ExpandEnvironmentStrings("%localappdata%") & "\Blue Jeans\desktop\carmel-detector\main.js"
APP_PATH=""

Set objFso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
If (objFso.FileExists(SYSTEM_APP_PATH)) Then
    APP_PATH = SYSTEM_APP_PATH
End If

If (objFso.FileExists(USER_APP_PATH)) Then
    APP_PATH = USER_APP_PATH
End If

If (APP_PATH <> "") Then
    If (objFso.FileExists(APP_DETECTOR_PATH)) Then
        objShell.Run """" & APP_PATH & """" & " " & """" & APP_DETECTOR_PATH & """"
    Else
        objShell.Run """" & APP_PATH & """" & " init-app-detector"

Hi Tyler,

Given messages are for bluejeans-helper.vbs VB Script which starts the Bluejeans app detector service on boot. It seems like there is some error while running the VBS on your system.

The startup folder at %localappdata%\Blue Jeans\desktop\carmel-detector\startup can deleted to avoid this issue. If problem persist kindly send an email to support@bluejeans.com so that we can reach out with next steps.

Thank you,

Radhika Chatur

I think this behavior is a security precaution by your IT administrator. They may have gotten the idea from Taylor Swift.
