Are there any plans or is it even possible to allow multi monitor output using the browser plugin? So for example have the shared data on one screen and the video on a second screen? Would be useful for us here in Newcastle where we do dual projection in teaching rooms and ideally would be able to split the two up

This question came up in our organization also.
Ian - I see you use Lync - this is a possibility over Lync, have you tried?

Hi Ian and Mike,

To add onto Brittany's reply, Lync 2013 within a BlueJeans call supports separate video, content and BlueJeans meeting control windows.   So you can place your participants on one monitor and content on another.  We have a feature request submitted for supporting this within a BlueJeans browser based call.  I will add you both the tracker for this feature.

Let us know if you have any other questions

Thanks

Hi Brittany, we use lync a bit internally, but we find we find the browser more user friendly for first timers, especially lecturers! As we have to give them less technical support,  I'll give it a try anyway with lync and see how we get on!

Thanks Philip :)

Us too... We have monitors in conference rooms that we would like to use to project shared content to remote and local participants.  Any updates?

Does anyone know if this capability exists yet?

I work for a university with administrators pushing for a competitors product. Coming from a broadcast background, BlueJeans quality far exceeds the competition. However, that benefit is overlooked when my supervisors strongly prefer a product with a multi-monitor feature. Please add this feature soon!

Hello Norm,

BlueJeans does support multi-monitor setup in meetings. As I am typing this now I am in a meeting with content on my first screen and the meeting on the second. Depending on the device that you are wanting multi-monitor support on, some configuration may be needed.
For example, room systems require a duo-streaming H.239 content channel be configured to seamlessly stream content on one screen and video on the other. You can refer to out NAT configuration guide to set this up:

https://support.bluejeans.com/knowledge/firewall-and-nat-setup

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns and I will be happy to help!

Regards,
Lee - BlueJeans Support
