We have received feedback from the latest IOS app, general sentiment is good however we would like the user experience between landscape and portrait to be consistant :

to quote "The latest update makes it impossible to see who has joined the meeting in landscape mode."

Hello Ash,

We appreciate the feedback on our newest release for iOS devices.  The engineers have indicated that the lack of roster when in Landscape was a deliberate design to conserve area on the screen when in meetings.

Our designers are continuing to investigate layout solutions to insure what is in use is the best possible method for our service on the Apple platform.

In case you have not seen it yet, here is the feature video produced by the development team which provides great insight in to the functionality of the Blue Jeans iOS app 2.0

Let us know if you have any additional feedback for the mobile platforms and have a wonderful day!

Thanks Sean, weird that my colleague said it was "fixed" ;) i checked and confirmed what you have advised.

even if swipe right gave us an attendee view that would work, or top down.

Update: roster in landscape mode has been implemented and slotted into the release stream.  It should be available in 2.3.5, which is currently targeted for being in the app store early November (~11/06 give or take).

Hi Ash,

We introduced this "feature" to provide a cleaner view in landscape, for a more cinematic experience (7.1 Dolby Pro Logic THX IMAX Certified 3D Surround sound coming in a future release).  From feedback similar to yours however it does look like users still want to check the roster regularly even in landscape.  We are working on a (re)design to maintain the sense of reduced clutter in landscape mode but still give users easy access to the roster.  Should be coming soon after the current block of "support all the new things Apple is doing" releases.

Version 2.3.5 of the iOS app is now live in the App Store and includes roster in landscape mode.
