We are researching Windows Phone for future development.  Frankly, we have little demand for it, but we do recognize the growth the platform has experienced in the last year.  How many users running WP do you have in your organization?

Windows is fast growing.. So definitely a need for BJN app for Windows will soon be a requirement by other users as well.

@Mukesh - For now as an alternate I would suggest that you use Lync (inbuilt) from windows platform to connect to BJN. That's just a workaround...

It will take me a long time to be convinced to switch to a Windows Phone, but I can certainly agree that the numbers are slowly increasing and having it as an option would be good.

Hi there,

I'm also keen to find out what might be in the works for Windows Phone. I currently have a mix of Windows 8, 8.1 and soon Windows 10 phones to the tune of approx 200 handsets.

App support from Bluejeans would be fantastic.

I've tried to use Lync 2013 phone app - I visit the meeting link in the phones browser and select to call in with Lync, and get given instructions to put an address into search like - %%%%%#######@lync.bluejeans.com which I do and it does recognise the user and 'connects' but does not allow any chat, audio or video entry to the meeting from there. I've def sorted my Lync->Bluejeans federation as I can use the lync 2013 app on my win8.1 laptop no worries at all.

There has not been any development on this topic.  We have been trying to collect numbers for our customer demand for Windows Phone and it has been pretty low.

@michael.  How many users in your organization will be on WP?  That is the number we look at.

Thanks,

@teddfox

Thanks for swift reply Tedd, lack of support for windows phone has to be my pet hate at the moment.

I'd be happy with support for the phones lync client if no app is generated - lync seems half way there already in terms that it can see the user and its online status.

Not to highjack the thread (sorry I am), but what were the business cases that made you go with Windows based phones?
