Is there a way for a new user to test their connection prior to a meeting?

We recently had scheduled a business meeting with a user who never used BlueJeans in the past. She was on Google Chrome and downloaded the plug-in, but for some reason she was unable to see the video (she was dialing in) and was popping up as chat only. We mentioned that she should try refreshing and restarting her browser, and to make sure she had pop-ups enabled, neither of which worked.

We've had to reschedule but my question is this:

Is there any way for a new user to test their connectivity prior to a scheduled meeting?

This is the test meeting with Jean to at least mimic a meeting with no one else there. If you talk Jean repeats back if your audio is working properly. You should be able to see yourself in your video preview as well if that's working. However, NOTHING beats testing live with someone on your own.

I'll also say that Jean's test lacks a check to see if echo may occur, but that's nearly impossible if you're not in the actual meeting with all the endpoints.

I find myself calling up a colleague and running a test before a big meeting. Also Mac's System Preferences helps me understand the volume levels.

Having a basic echo service (and no, not the cute 111) would be very helpful
