Is talk-show display format in the plans for the future? (Similar to Belive.tv or Zoom)

Bluejeans is my preference for my meetings -- except when it comes to meetings that need to be broadcast in an interview type format. It would be great if the option for side-by-side / interview style was available where the host's image would be constant, and the guest appears right next to them in the same size. This ability exists for Belive.tv and Zoom, it would be great for Bluejeans to adopt it as well.

Claudia,
Thank you for the great suggestion! While we currently offer active speaker, with film strip on the bottom, and "Brady Bunch" style layouts, we will be adding many more layouts soon, including "side-by-side," and "weatherman" style, with content and speaker overlays. Stay tuned to see it soon, and let us know if you'd be interested in working with our design group to further validate and inform our direction.

Hi Claudia, I use this side-by-side function when I have just me and one guest.  (Brady bunch or as I call it hollywood squares)  Check here for a sample https://www.michaellosier.com/p/emotioncodebros

I currently use blue jeans to host meetings with 4 participants. Is there a way for the moderator to highlight/display, or make any one of them an active speaker (viewed on screen), or am I missing something? I want the moderator to be able to switch between participants to active speaker, even if they are not speaking. For instance, the moderator could be doing an introduction of the main speaker and wish to display his live video.

Hi Dwight,

As a moderator you can use the video pinning option to pin any participant's video throughout even if he/she is not speaking. Please refer below solution article-

Fixing a participant (the lecturer) to always appear as "main speaker" (i.e., "video pinning")

Thank you,
