iphone battery sink with BlueJeans App

My iphone battery drains extremely quickly when using the BlueJeans app, like from 80% to 15% in 4 minutes using the app. Does anyone have an explanation or fix for this problem?

I would agree. We use the iOS often and I've never had it drain my battery that quickly. I understand it will certainly drain it faster than normal use, but this seems a bit extreme to me. It would be great if you post back what came of this, Dan.

What was the resolution for this issue?  I am currently experiencing this problem.

Hello Adel,

It appears that the issue was localized to the user's iOS device. I myself am an avid iPhone user and do not see this battery drain issue on my device when using BlueJeans (iPhone 6+ on iOS 11).

If you are seeing the battery drain, please make sure that you have closed out of all background applications, make sure your device is up to date, and that the BlueJeans mobile application is on the most up to date version.
