If I cancel a BlueJeans meeting in my Google Calendar, I still get an upcoming meeting notification for the cancelled meeting on any device that has the BlueJeans app. Gives me a mini heart attack that I'm missing a meeting. Is there any way I can avoid this?

This can happen if the meeting was scheduled from your BlueJeans account, because the BlueJeans iOS and Android apps will check both your Google Calendar and your BlueJeans scheduled meetings. When you remove the meeting from Google Calendar, the meeting is still in BlueJeans, because we don't get cancellation info from Google.

---

To avoid this, you can try cancelling the meeting from BlueJeans scheduled meetings instead, which will also remove it from Google Calendar.
  1. Go to https://bluejeans.com/scheduling/
  2. Click on the meeting you want to cancel to expand the box
  3. Click the Cancel link
  4. Click the red Cancel Meeting button
The meeting should now disappear from the scheduling page, your iOS or Android app, and Google Calendar, and you won't get a notification at the time the meeting would have started.

An alternative approach is to disable meeting notifications in the BlueJeans app, and rely on your Google Calendar notifications to alert you that a meeting is about to start. You can still join the meeting using the app from the link in the meeting description. This way, when you cancel a meeting from Google Calendar, your calendar notifications will accurately reflect meeting cancellations.

To turn off all meeting notifications in the app:
  1. Go to the Me tab at the bottom-right of the screen
  2. Tap the Settings gear icon in the top-right
  3. Under Notifications, switch off Meeting Notifications.
