Hi Greg -

Specifically what room system are you using (Polycom, Cisco, Lifesize, etc)?

In general you can store Blue Jeans Contact in your room system as a contact:
  • H.323 Room System: 199.48.152.152
  • SIP device: bjn.vc (H.323 call) and sip.bjn.vc
If you want to store specific meeting ID's please see below dial strings:

*URI Dial String Note:

  • From a Polycom, Cisco/Tandberg, LifeSize and Mirial/ClearSea endpoint you can dial directly into a Blue Jeans meeting using the following format: <Meeting ID>.<Passcode>@199.48.152.152 for example, if the meeting ID is 12345 and the passcode is 1111 the URI string will look like this 12345.1111@199.48.152.152
  • Should your meeting not contain a passcode then simply dial <Meeting ID>@199.48.152.152e.g. 12345@199.48.152.152
  • From a SIP device you need to dial the SIP URI meet@sip.bjn.vc (to get IVR as shown in step 1) Or use the direct SIP URI string <Meeting ID>@sip.bjn.vc
  • URI Dialing using domain: <Meeting ID>@bjn.vc (for H.323 call) and <Meeting ID>@sip.bjn.vc(for SIP call)
  • Some older endpoints do not support the above dial string format. If you are experiencing issues connecting to Blue Jeans using the above format please try one of the following:
    • <IP>##<MeetingID>#<Passcode> (example:199.48.152.152##12345#1111)
    • <IP>##<MeetingID>:<Passcode>
    • <MeetingID>:<Passcode>@<IP>

Based on your specific room system response, we can help you narrow down the specific details.

Our Polycoms keep the BlueJeans number in the Recent History, so I'm not sure we have had to manually enter it since we started!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Easy way to add BJ to favorites?.

Is there any easy route to add Bluejeans as a favorite with the Polycom systems? Command line would be perfect.

If you're adding a lot of favorites at a time to an HDX, under Utilities there's an Import Directory option. What I did was create a "clean" favorites list on an HDX with all the specific Bluejeans meetings I needed, exported it, and then imported it to all the other HDXs. It adds the entries to the favorites rather than replacing the current favorites.
