We are looking to use a smartboard for our classrooms. We currently use a Cisco C40 telepresence system. Does anyone know of a smartboard that is compatible with BlueJeans and Cisco C40?

I assume you would use the smartboard as a display during BlueJeans use given that the digital whiteboard option isn't available yet with BlueJeans, like you may have seen with WebEx.

With BlueJeans, I assume if you use screenshare while running the smartboard in the background it would show all attendees what you are drawing but I'm not sure how the quality would look since it's in screenshare mode and not an actual digital whiteboard option like is available with WebEx.

I don't know if smart (the brand) is compatible with Cisco C40 but smart (brand) board can work off a full computer so it can run traditional BlueJeans on it, just add a camera to it.  The smart (brand) site lists 3 optional cameras but if you use a traditional computer to connect the smart board then it shouldn't matter which camera you use.  Or you can use a smart (brand) board with or without a full computer and attach a TelyHD camera which runs BlueJeans as a built-in app without needing a computer.  We have a smart board but we use a LED TV connected HDMI to a TelyHD Pro camera for BlueJeans.

To clarify:

1. Smart (brand) board with a stationary traditional computer set up connected 24/7 that runs the smart software and interfaces with the actual whiteboard that you can connect any USB camera to the computer

2. Smart (brand) board with a miniPC which is now compatible with it as the stationary computer connected 24/7 to run the smart software and interfaces with the actual whiteboard and use a separate TelyHD camera (built-in wired and wireless network connectivity) that has the built-in BlueJeans app

3. Touchscreen TV with a HDMI connected TelyHD camera with the built-in BlueJeans app
