Getting to SSO login is hard

Just make it easier. If you click "login" you don't get kicked over to SSO the way you should be.

On the new desktop app you guys nailed it, though. It acknowleges that my email address indicates membership to a company that has SSO and sends me over to that screen to finish logging in. Bring this elegance to all the other products!

Completely agree, the main bluejeans.com login page did at least have a link to "use single sign on" but that seemed to have regressed.
Hi Guys - I let the engineering and PM team know. Thanks for the feedback, as always!

To train a new hire this morning I logged out of BlueJeans to demonstrate how to log in. But I was absolutely unable to find a way to log in again via SSO on web.

Turns out I needed to click through an invitation to a meeting in order to even have that option. Seriously?

You've solved this awkwardness already in the desktop app where you first ask for my email/user ID, then pass me to the appropriate login flow when I'm identified as a SSO user. Please, please, please bring this to web.

Nate -- good feedback. Thank you.  I agree the authentication through the web page could be improved. I have submitted it to our engineering team and will add to the roadmap.

Any update on this?  We are switching to SSO login and would be helpful to redirect from main webpage.

Ryan,

Feature request for redirecting browser users who login at main webpage http://bluejeans.com/login to their CLP (Customer Landing page) or SSO page is already logged. We have added your enterprise name in "customer requesting this feature list".

Currently we do not have update on same. However once we get some news we will keep community posted.

Thank you

Nathan, we use our SSO through a customised landing page, i.e. we do not send our users to bluejeans.com we send them to our own custom url that Blue Jeans setup for us, your CSM should be able to configure this for you and i actually thought this was a hard requirement for SSO users since it cannot be done from the main web page.

Thanks for the tip, Ash. Still, it's an extra step that neither Microsoft nor Google require for SSO. That makes it extra hard to train people to go somewhere other than the service provider's main login page.

I'd love to see BlueJeans' web login flow redesigned to mirror the desktop app login flow.

agreed, as this is the same for most other apps that we use for SSO, i.e. you get asked for username and then the app determines if it needs to pass via saml provider or to ask for a password

Blue Jeans definitely needs to fix the SSO login flow from the homepage. Users should be directed to the SSO login page when they click Login on the homepage. This is a very very obvious and frustrating flaw.

We currently use two-step authentication flow everywhere else (Meeting Join Flow, Chrome/Safari Extensions, Outlook Plugin, Mac Scheduler, etc.).  This is what we call the flow which asks for your username/email first, then directs you to the appropriate log-in mechanism, based on your authentication profile.

The home page is the only location where we have not implemented this flow, and it is coming in early Q1.  The reason for the delay is that we have some customers that felt it necessary to provide their contractors with basic auth accounts (username & password), rather than just issuing a temporary AD account within their organization, and utilizing SAML.  We are forgiving, so we are delaying the rollout of this new auth flow, on the home page, until we can supply a work around.

It was supposed to go out this week, but we caught a bug during QA that is going to be fixed in the next few days.  I anticipate that it will be ready by the end of next week.
