Would like to request a new feature be added to allow a moderator to disable video and microphone for participants as they join and prevent the participants from overriding the moderator.

Hi Akima, as the moderator you can set up the meeting to mute the participant's microphone automatically when they come into the meeting (instructions found at http://bluejeans.force.com/KnowledgeSearch/articles/Knowledge_Base/Mute-Participants-on-Entry-to-you...).  It won't mute the video, however. We will mention that idea to our product team.

Thanks Mike. We do utilize the mute participants on entry but wish there was a way to prevent users from overriding the moderator. Essentially want similar functionality to Primetime where participants can raise their hand.

Thanks Armen for the suggestions. Hard mute mode( audio) and raise hand option with Standard Bluejeans meetings - features requests are already logged with our dev team.
