Feature Request -- Announcing by name when joining audio only call.

It would be nice if Blue Jeans audio only bridge had a way for participants joining the call to state their name first so they are announced by name when they come into a call. We have the audible sound (beep or swish) feature enabled now which helps us know when someone enters or leave a call but a name announcement would be better. Could this be added to the Blue Jeans feature wish list please. Thanks.

I would definitely like to see some improvements to the audio only bridge. Here are some of our top requests:

On hold music (keep them entertained!)
Additional Leader Control

     - a way to indicate how many people are on the call

     - if the leader joins after the participants, some indicate  who or how many people are on the line (e.g. you join, hear 5 beeps and know that 5 people are dialed in

Any update on this?

Our company is moving to use BlueJeans as our audio conferencing solution in addition to the remote web call/browser format. However, when we setup an audio only call, I have no idea when someone joins the bridge. No beeps/dings, etc. So people and join and leave and everyone on the call doesn't know about it.

Additional audio conf controls (like Peter mentioned) would be very much a value-add and might get other companies to switch their audio-only conferencing solutions to BlueJeans as well.

Hi Mike,

It sounds like the "Silent Participant Entry Mode" option is currently enabled on your account. With this feature enabled you will not be able to hear the entry and exit tones or see the visual entry and exit banners when users join/leave your meeting.

This option is configured within your room settings, which you can access by logging into your account: https://bluejeans.com/settings/room-settings

Hope this helps!
