Disable automatically adding email invitation to gcal?

For some of our regular meetings I set up a meeting to repeat daily. The problem is, when I invite someone to attend one of them through email (probably just gmail) it automatically adds all the repeating events to their google calendar. They can just delete all the events, but is there a way to prevent this from happening on my end?

Hi Eric,

Are you inviting users using methods:

forwarding participant invite (or) sending normal email with meeting link (or) sending invite from live meeting interface

Sending meeting link over a normal email should help here.

This happens when I invite someone by email address in either the live meeting interface or the "Invite Participants" block in "Edit Meeting". I understand the usefulness of sending out an event invite when you create a meeting and invite participants, but is there a way to turn this off on a per meeting or account basis, or just from the live interface?

My use case is basically this: I schedule a meeting which lasts all day every day, so the meeting ID doesn't expire, and people hop in and out as they need to. I email people the link to join (copy/paste), which doesn't cause any problems, but sometimes when they're in the meeting they need to invite someone else, and so they put that person's email in the live meeting interface. That person gets an email with a link to join the meeting, but they also get a gcal invite for the all-day every-day meeting (which causes much consternation, even though they can just "delete all events" on it).

Thanks for your help!

Hi Eric,

Currently we do not have a way to disable automated invite triggers sent from live meeting interface or from edit meeting "invite participant" section. At present I feel the only solution in this use case is to create one time random meeting id for each day meeting. This will only add one instance of meeting in participant calendar.
