Has anyone used Relay with a Crestron room system to give users control of Bluejeans soft codec running on a PC via Crestron touch panel?

Hello Darren,

I have not personally used this type of setup before but I received information from my engineers that using Relay with Crestron is possible.

We would recommend against using a PC with a desktop client as it may pose a security risk. We do offer solutions such as our Huddle Rooms that work in place of room system devices. This solution also adopts the Relay listener service to bring it all into one setup.

You can read more on Huddle here:
The Relay API for Crestron will allow a system to display and join meetings, but full meeting control is available on the iPad for Huddle.

Regards,
Lee - BlueJeans Support

Darren - We are a few months away from integrating Relay into our Crestron/Cisco-based conference room systems. All of our conference rooms are also equipped with room PCs, so I'd be interested to know if you can make this work using a desktop client for soft codec control...
