Does anyone else want to see BlueJeans support Citrix (XenApp / XenDesktop) ?

Currently this is not supported.

@Jason we will send this around to some of our other customers as well to track on here the support. For now, what % of your organization is using Citrix (XenApp/ XenDesktop)?

We have about 500 people in our organisation on Citrix. No support is really bad news for us.

We found that our Citrix environment would not "play nicely" with BlueJeans, so we used HDX Rooms and/or laptops outside of our Citrix network for our meetings - which cleared up all related issues!

We've got just over 300+ users on Citrix as well.   Are you guys referring to the Outlook Scheduling plugin, or other support in Citrix?

We have had to hack together something where by if a user clicks on a URL with Bluejeans.com it jumps they jump out to local browser. Not ideal.

Gavin, can you share how you jimmied that together?  We've been trying to do a similar thing here, with BlueJeans AND Lync meetings.  I haven't found a way to do it by URL.
Hi All! We do plan on supporting virtual desktop environments, but most likely not until the end of the year. #Staytuned

This was 3 years ago, any update?  I don't even want/need it to support cameras or mics, just the ability to view would be huge for using it for screen sharing...

Hi Brian,

As per our engineering team, the screen share only mode ( no video and audio input/output) with bluejeans app should work fine on Citrix environment. Please refer following solution article-

What about the BlueJeans Outlook plugin Gavin?  Do you guys install that on your Citrix servers?  If so, do you install using an admin account or does it need to run under each users profile?

I tried installing via an Admin account last night and it didn't show up for anyone.

We rolled out Blue Jeans earlier in the year and hosted a "Town Hall" but realized that our users on Wyse terminals internal and in the field could not launch the browser based blue jeans and we are not running Citrix rather we have a Microsoft RD Farm with close to 20 virtual Remote Dtop servers behind a Barracuda load balancer (it's there for external sessions). We don't allow downloading and it was a nightmare. We have Lync running in our firm with 750+ users in two states so we used Lync to come in to Blue Jeans and it worked beautifully!
