change single instance of recurring meeting

When scheduling a recurring meeting via Outlook, how does Blue Jeans handle a change in date or time for a single instance?  I edit the meeting in Outlook and it updates correctly, but on the BlueJeans website, it doesn't appear any differently.  The meeting details still report the original recurrence.

Are recurring meetings similar to personal meeting rooms in that they're always available for connection until the meeting expires?

Blue Jeans does not edit a single occurrence.  Outlook handles the one-off changes.

You are correct that the recurring meetings are similar to the personal meeting.  :-)

Hope this helps,

Hi there, if I am using the gmail calendar, how do I change a single occurrence?

Hi Kate, May I know how you are scheduling your meetings? Is it using your bluejeans account on a web browser or using our google calendar extension?

If you are scheduling meeting using web account you will not be able to edit single occurrence of a meeting. If you edit it, it will change/affect for all series. However if you use our google calendar extension, it will allow you to update single occurrence.

Thank you,
