When launching a meeting using a calendar link through my browser, the website directs my browser to download an old version of the client, rather than using the installed version.
How can I get my browser to launch the correct .exe?

Client Details:

  • BlueJeans Desktop Client - v2.8.583.0 (Corporate logo in top-left corner)
  • Operating System - Windows 10
  • Browser - Google Chrome v70.0.3538.67 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hello Ian,

There are some features on the backend that need to be enabled for your enterprise account for this to happen. As we are carefully taking a phased approach to migrating all of our customers to Desktop App 2.0 I will check in with your Enterprises technical leads and account manager before I enable anything.

I will open a case and copy you on my communications to your BlueJeans account team about the next steps.

Thanks Stuart,

I've got a non-standard build and unlike many of my colleagues can install my own apps, so that might explain it.
