BlueJeans app will not start

We have an Alcatel C9 smartphone with Android 4.2.2. We downloaded the BlueJeans app from the Play Store and it seems to install successfully. However, the app will not get past the splash screen. We have tried to uninstall and reinstall, as well as a complete restart of the phone, but the problem remains. Has anyone had a similar issue and has found a solution?

Steve - sorry you're experiencing this.  I opened a support ticket for you, hopefully you will see a response on here soon. In case, your support ticket # is: 00079892 Thanks!
Hi Steve, is that C9 this model?  http://www.gsmarena.com/alcatel_pop_c9-5938.php
I see that the model at that link shows 4 GB of internal storage and space for optional microSD card.  Are you trying to start the app from the microSD card?  If so, can you see if you have enough space on the internal storage and be able to install and start our app from the internal storage to see if that allows the app to start?  Thanks.

Thank you for your reply. No, we don't have an internal microSD card installed. Yes, the link shows a very similar model to our own.
Hi Steve, how much free storage is left on your phone?  When starting the BlueJeans app, is our app the only running app at the time?  When you say "app will not get past the splash screen", does it only show BlueJeans and then kick back out?

Actually we do have an SD card. Both the SD card and the phone have about 1 GB of storage available. We switched the default write disk to the phone (data was going to the SD card) and tried to install BlueJeans again, but same problem. BlueJeans starts but just stays on the Bluejeans logo (white letters on blue background) and does not progress any further. There are a few running programs including Viber, Google Antivirus, Yahoo Mail, Google Services and a few others. Blue Jeans is listed as a running program with 1 process and 1 service. But we also tried to completely power off the device and start BlueJeans again- same problem.
Hi Steve, I'm inquiring with our developer on this.  Thanks.
Hi Steve,

Can you enable "USB Debugging" found in the Settings --> "Developer Options".

Now try the app and let us know if it starts up.  Thanks.

It was not so easy to enable Developer Options, but we did it and checked USB Debugging. The app still will not start up- same behavior.
Hi Steve, thanks for the info.  I've passed on your info to our developer.
