Having an issue with the Bluejeans App on Windows 10. When trying to share a video, the following error pops up asking to install Flash Player. Flash is already installed but it is not seeing it. Anyone else having this issue?

- Video playback works fine using Internet Explorer plugin
- Using WebRTC in Chrome does not have an option to share an uploaded video (Feature Request!)

I am having issues with this as well.  I talked with Adobe support and they stated that
"It's failing because BlueJeans support has an old, out-dated version of the Flash Player online (bootstraper) installer.  There is no such thing as 'Flash Player for video sharing' it's simply Flash Player"

What else is happening is when we try to share video we are getting the message that we have to have Flash 12 or higher and all of our systems have version 24,0,0,194 so why is it not seeing that?

Hi Curt,

For video sharing over bluejeans app we use NPAPI based Adobe flashplayer. Please check if you have this type of version installed. You can easily download this player from our knowledge base article given here.

I have the same issue this January 2018. I tried to install flash player version recommended by blujeans and nothing happens. I install flash player in Windows 10 directly from Adobe and nothing happens. I still have the same reported problem here.

Hi Ricardo,

Thank you for the reporting the issue. Solution article given in above comment is outdated one. Please refer below link to get the NPAPI based flash player from adobe site
Please let me know if it helps in fixing the problem. If not, we will create a support case and troubleshoot the issue further.

Thank you,

Flash is an outdated resource - what are you doing to enable sharing of videos without using Flash? Most companies no longer allow employees to download or install it.

Hi Ron,

We're currently in the process of transitioning from Flash to HTML5. The Attendee experience in BlueJeans Events and online playback for recordings have already been changed to HTML5. Addressing Video Share is on our roadmap, but we do not have an exact date at this time.

Best regards,

Erin - BlueJeans Support

Hi,
When I share a video on Bluejeans App on Mac, viewers are seeing a message that they need to install Adobe flash player on their machines. What are the other ways of sharing videos so audio can be heard too without them having to do anything?
Thanks!

Hi Deepthi,

Currently Adobe flash player NPAPI is required to watch or play videos over bluejeans app 1.x version. We are working on a feature with our 2.0 version of app which will allow sharing videos normally without need of flash. At present we do not have ETA for this feature.

Thank you,

August 2018 and this is still an issue?

Tried multiple browsers and got the same "please install Flash" message

Installed Flash and STILL get the same "please install Flash" message

this is a deal breaker... any update on a timeframe for HTML 5 support?
