Blue Jeans Relay

just a quick question about BlueJeans Relay. My BJN room is set up to start only with the moderator. When I schedule a meeting (inviting one of my legacy video systems), I see the meeting on the touch control and it's great. When I click on the meeting, I connect to the BlueJeans IVR which says 'Waiting for the moderator to join'. If I don't have my computer in the room to connect as a moderator, is there a way (DTMF or something else) from the legacy video system to bypass the lobby and enter the moderator PIN to join the room?

Hi Fabrice,

There is a feature in Relay Touch (Android tablet app) that handles this situation.

If you try to join a meeting which needs a moderator, and the meeting hasn't started yet, and the invitation didn't contain the moderator passcode, then the tablet app will prompt you to optionally type in the moderator passcode so you can easily start the meeting.

If you don't know the moderator passcode, you can also opt to join the waiting room, which is current behavior you described.

This feature does require the Relay Touch app to be installed on an Android tablet in the room, so if you're instead using the video conferencing system's built-in touchscreen or on-screen menu, it won't be able to ask you for the moderator passcode.
