Hi I love Blue Jeans and am the person trying get this used more at my current company: Linaro.    One of the ideas I have is for us to have a virtual water cooler.  This is a place where people working for our company globally can go and meet up and chat with others.   You have already provisioned this room to not shut down and be open 24/7//   We have created this room but I am not implementing just yet.   Wonder could there be a way to add an automated email, IRC, message or twitter feed that someone has entered this virtual room.   This would let others in my company know that Mary or John has entered the room and you would get an indicator that there is a person there?  Any ideas on automatic notices that can be sent? Thanks, Mike

@Mike That is great! We call these hot walls and a few other companies are trying systems like this too. It actually was a fun hackathon project here inside Blue Jeans. IE Happy hour room or water cooler.

The only way to do this without using our API's with your IM service is manually through your social or Instant messaging application/platform. What do you use?

we would also like to implement same - we are a dispersed business and a place to meet open 24/7 would be very productive. Can you demo how you are using it today? The IM alert would be the next step.
