Automatic calls to the presenting meeting room

In my company (Facebook), there are 2 ways of having meetings with multiple locations. BlueJeans is a perfect solutions to as far as scalability and the quality go. However, frequently, people would directly call other meeting rooms because it's way easier. Or if the meeting has only 1 room and other people are joining through BlueJeans, they won't even connect to BlueJeans.

This is a big problem for the people who are trying to join those meetings via their laptops. Only way to do this is to directly call the meeting room after couple minutes because it's already 5 minutes in and noone started BlueJeans. This is disruptive because then I have to call in the middle of the meeting, presenter has to stop and answer my call. We constantly provide feedback to the presenters but this is still happening frequently.

Idea is to select a room as "presenting room" and have BlueJeans initiate the call to that room in the beginning of the meeting (let's say it retries for the first 5 minutes). This way, it wouldn't be disruptive because it's right in the beginning of the meeting and other attendees can then join. This would be such an awesome feature and would have a huge impact.

Thanks in advance for the help.

You may want to talk to your BlueJeans account rep about BlueJeans Relay: https://www.bluejeans.com/features/relay

It allows your calendaring system (Microsoft Office 365, Exchange 2013, Exchange 2010, or Google Calendar) to push the calendar for each conference room to the actual video conferencing hardware and then you just tap the event to join the BlueJeans meeting (tied to the calendar event) on the unit, it's amazing. It's not exactly what you're asking for, but it removes so much of the friction of joining a BlueJeans meeting (entering the IP, entering the meeting ID, etc.) that it causes employees in the conference room to dial the BlueJeans meeting much more often in our case.

It's literally magic; when I announced it at our company All Hands, there were audible gasps from the crowd
