Australian POP

We've been using Blue Jeans for some time, particularly on our Polycom HDX VC units and laptops. I notice that the hostname resolves to an US West-Coast POP IP, not any of the Australian IPs

Should we be using on our systems so we get routed to Australia, or is there some other protocol in place that directs traffic to the nearest POP?

I found some info here but still need clarification:

For room systems (H323 & SIP based), the IP address to dial is or which is indeed registered in the US; but actual audio/video traffic flows from the Australia POP IP range for your case. Connections will always be geo-located to their closest connection node (PoP), based on the IP of the endpoint joining. So if you join a bluejeans meeting from the Australia, from a local IP, your connection will be mapped to our Australia PoP. There are no other IP address we can communicate nor can you use to connect to bluejeans.
