audio delay using call-in number with audio only conference

We are testing BlueJeans to possibly replace two other systems.  We are experiencing serious delays with audio only conferences.  The delay makes the system unusable for audio-only conferences.  We are using mobile devices dialing into the meeting phone number, Verizon and ATT both.

Is this just how it is?  BlueJeans focuses on video and audio-only is a "nice to have"?

Aaron, was this ever resolved? Did you switch to BlueJeans? We are in month 2 of our first annual contract and we get consistent reports of this delay in audio-only call in conference calls.
