Anyone using a medical stethoscope in Blue Jeans

We are using Blue Jeans in our hospital. Our doctors would like to begin hearing stethoscope sounds from the patient end. We do this all the time with our normal Polycom HDX codecs. But when i plug a stethoscope into the laptop and use it inside a Blue Jeans call, the audio is all muffled. It seems Blue Jeans doesn't have the wideband-audio support to encompass the low-frequency ranges needed for heart-sounds (45-900 Hz) and/or breath sounds (50-2000 Hz)? Has anyone had this issue and no of a solution?

Hi Barry - welcome to The Blue Jeans Community and thanks for asking such a unique question! I have forwarded it to our 25+ person Customer Success Team who will dig through their medical use cases and encourage another customer to chime in if someone has experience. Thanks!

We tested several, including digital ones and this one we found had the best support and worked great. www.mobildrtech.com

Thanks Greg, That looks like the same chest piece I am trying now with GlobalMed. Do I have to use the "auscultation anywhere" software mentioned in your link or will it work just fine through Blue Jeans?
