We are proud to announce the impending public beta of the Blue Jeans Outlook Add-in 3.0! We have been SUPER hard at work making the next evolution of our Outlook add-in.
In This Release:
- New Meeting workflow
-- Now you can actually SEE the meeting details BEFORE the send button his tapped!
- Any Device
-- Now user can see their moderator information from other devices
- What's New View
-- Now we can tell users what features are new so they can take advantage of the new #AWESOME features.
- SSO Improvements
-- we had some issues with a couple customers that we fixed
- Edit Meeting Details
-- Now you can edit the meeting details, delete the details (Like CA asked), whatever you want
- Meet Now!
-- Now you can "meet now" from the BJN menu on the ribbon.
KNOWN ISSUES FOR THIS VERSION: (We will hopefully have most of these solves for GA—except the “Google issue”)
- Schedule Meeting is not working in a machine where word is not installed
- Users may not able to cancel a recurrence meeting after edit
- Attached file cannot be seen on re-open(edit) meeting
- Not able to cancel meeting by clicking 'Cancel option/delete button’
- ‘Meet Now' option is not working from SSO/clp account's
- Moderator content is "shown" on sync in Google Calendar, (synced via 'Google apps sync for Outlook' ). ***This is a Google Calendar behavior***. You might want to refer to "https://productforums.google.com/foru..." and other posts that points to the problem. There are no known workarounds for this problem. Outlook scheduled events have identical behavior as our add-in and happens for everyone.
- ‘Save/cancel' popup is not shown when we create a meeting from 'Add Blue Jeans Meeting' and close it
- ‘Enable automatic recording ' and 'Disable chat messaging' option are greyed out after upgrade.
